Women Build

Women Build is a Habitat program that trains women to build homes and to help women address the problem of substandard housing and its effects on the health and well-being of children. Much more than a simple home construction project, the Women Build brings individuals and groups of women together to create something very special while engaging in activities that inspire a sense of community as well as personal accomplishment. When women come together in a supportive environment, the results are amazing!

Thousands of houses have been built by women crews around the world. Since Women Build was formed in 1991, more than 1,400 homes have been built by women crews.

In the Fox Cities alone, there have been a total of 12 Women Build homes in just 11 years!
