Special Events

Brief Description: Habitat offers several Special Events throughout the year to raise funds or develop awareness or do public relations.  Special events will vary greatly and include such things as the Human Race, Quarry Quest, Octoberfest, speaking engagements, volunteer fairs, home shows, etc. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the specific special event and the responsibilities expected for each (these will vary)

Tools to be used:

  • Will vary depending on the special event. 

Other Information: Special event volunteers will be scheduled and confirmed by the Volunteer Services Manager.  At that time, specific requirements, qualifications and expectations will be discussed.  Volunteers will be provided with specific information about the special event they are helping with and will be provided training and materials as necessary.
