Construction Volunteers

Habitat's mission is to build homes with those in need.  So volunteers are needed to help in several aspects of home construction.

Site Leader: Supervise all volunteers onsite for a given workday.

Crew Mentor: Mentors work under the direction of the site leaders and construction supervisors with small groups of general crew member volunteers to teach and lead them in construction tasks for that given workday.

Crew Member: Works under the direction of the site leader and crew mentors.  They assist with construction tasks as assigned for that particular workday.  They will agree to work safely and abide by rules given to them by their crew mentors and site leader. 

Site Support: Volunteers serve as the host or hostess of the worksite.  General duties include greeting and registering volunteers as they arrive, ensuring all paperwork is completed, preparing and serving beverages, assisting with meal service, running errands, organizing tools & equipment as needed, keeping the site clean and safe, assisting with first aid and emergencies and necessary other tasks.

Meal Providers: Supply lunch to all Habitat construction crew volunteers.
