Outreach Intern

Position Title:  Outreach Intern

Work Schedule:  ~10 hours per week, during business hours, working around class schedules. 

Pay/Salary: Not Paid, but a PRICELESS volunteer experience!  You’ll have the opportunity to learn new skills and be mentored by others experienced in the marketing field.

Employment Start Date: 2/01/11
Employment End Date: to be determined

Job Description:
Help with marketing and communications efforts of the organization, including social media, media relations and community partnerships.   Specific focus areas include:

  • Write and submit content to smaller, local print publications.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HFH’s expanded social media efforts.
  • Develop and organize photos, videos and information to use in social media efforts.
  • Contact large local employers to find ways to connect their employees to HFH.

Qualifications:

  • ability to work independently
  • strong organizational skills
  • must have completed at least two years of college, and have taken at least 2 marketing-related courses
