Habitat for Humanity, in partnership with Goodwill NCW, is searching for a Director of Development to help support the creation and implementation of comprehensive fund raising programs focused on major gifts to support our operation.
Our Director of Development will be responsible for planning, managing and implementing the affiliate’s fund development programs as defined by our strategic plan. The Director of Development works closely with the CEO, board members, staff, and fund development volunteers to achieve/exceed fund raising goals to meet the growing financial needs of the affiliate.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of five years of experience working as a development officer and a CFRE designation. Candidates should have a record of actively securing gifts from individual and corporate donors and foundations, as well as having worked effectively with staff and board members.
Join the awesome team of volunteers and staff at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore – a unique retail outlet that sells donated new and used building materials at very low prices – keeping usable materials out of the landfills and providing all of our profits to support the Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity.
The General Manager is responsible for ensuring the success of the ReStore by generating income and managing expenses of the ReStore through sales, deconstruction services, recycling operations and other revenue-generating programs.
At least 5 years retail management and direct sales experience is required, volunteer management experience and proven ability to establish community partnerships are critical.
Full time salaried position, 40+ hours per week with varying shifts.
