Tithing

All Habitat for Humanity affiliates are asked to give 10% of their funds raised and not specified for local use to build Habitat houses in other countries. Fox Cities Habitat tithes to Creel, Mexico. In 2009, our total tithe was nearly $50,000 which built approximately 11 homes there. 

Members of Appleton’s First Congregational Church of Christ have organized and completed 7 mission trips to build Habitat homes in Creel.

As we continue to grow in the Fox Cities, it is important to remember our impact on a global scale, helping change the lives of almost 100 families thousands of miles away.
