How we Operate

The Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization. We do not accept any funding directly from the federal government, instead we rely on generous contribuitions from individuals, families, businesses and other organizations. We also are able to generate money through our revolving fund of home mortgages.

thanksThe Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity prides itself on our efficiency, not only in using and reusing all of our materials onsite, but also in planning for our entire organiztion. We have been named a 'Trusted Partner' by Guidestar, an organization that validates non profit financial information.

Our most up to date financial information can be found in our most current annual report.

Alternative Funding Sources

Habitat's mortgage recycling program is a unique economic model designed to promote financial self-sufficiency. Through the support of volunteer construction crews, Habitat is able to offer families zero interest, no-profit mortgages that homeowners pay off overrestore the course of 15 to 30 years. During the life of the mortgage, each monthly payment is recycled into the operating budget to help finance future homes.

The Habtiat ReStore continues to provide a sustainable source of revenue for our mission. To date, the ReStore has funded an entire home as well as supporting our general fund. Please keep the ReStore in mind for donations and purchases of "gently used" home furnishings and home remodeling items. Call (920) 830-8400 for more information.
